The Tampa Bay Lightning have transformed their season, overcoming a dismal start to emerge as a dominant force in the NHL. After securing only one win in their first seven games, the Lightning have rebounded spectacularly, amassing a remarkable 15–3–0 record over the past 18 games. Their performance has propelled them to a season-high seven-game win streak and the top position in the Atlantic Division.

Tampa Bay’s Defensive and Offensive Resurgence

This turnaround can be attributed to a combination of strong defensive capabilities and a potent offense. The Lightning boast the best penalty kill in the league at an impressive 88.8% efficiency. Additionally, they rank among the top teams in goals against, allowing the second-fewest goals per game.
