Community Mourns Loss of Two Local Residents This January

The community is coming together to honor the lives of two local residents, Judy Lindsey and Donna McHenry, who recently passed away. Their funerals are scheduled for January 26, 2026, providing an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects.

Judy Lindsey’s Farewell

Judy Lindsey, aged 75, passed away on Friday. Her funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Hartford Christian Church. The burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation hours have been set for 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. until the start of the service on Saturday at the church. This service will provide a space for loved ones to reflect on her life and share memories.

Donna McHenry Remembered

Donna McHenry, aged 61, died on Wednesday, January 14. Her funeral service is scheduled for noon on Monday at Fourth Street Baptist Church. Prior to the service, visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the church. Friends and family are encouraged to gather during this time to celebrate her life and support each other.
