Eli and Lani Return to Salem, Promising More Drama in Days of Our Lives
The beloved characters Eli Grant and Lani Price Grant are making a significant return to Salem in the popular daytime soap opera, Days of Our Lives. This development was confirmed during Monday’s episode, where Eli, portrayed by Lamon Archey, revealed to Julie that the FBI was pleased with their recent collaboration in Alamainia and decided to keep them together. Fans can look forward to seeing much more of Lani, as actress Sal Stowers expressed her excitement about the duo’s increased presence on the show.
In an interview with Soaps.com, Stowers shared her enthusiasm, stating, “I am very, very excited to say that, yes, you will see lots more of Lani Price Grant in the streets of Salem. So get ready! Buckle up, because she is here, baby!” The announcement has stirred anticipation among the show’s loyal audience, eager to witness the unfolding drama with the couple.
Eli and Lani initially departed Salem in late 2022, appearing intermittently since then. Their last appearance was during the Christmas episode, indicating that while they have not been regular features, their connection to the series remains strong. Stowers reflected on her gratitude and honor in returning, saying, “I’ve just been very thankful and appreciative for having the opportunity to jump back into Lani and come back to Salem and see everyone. It’s a blessing.”
Stowers further emphasized her long-standing relationships with the cast, describing her time working with them as “really cool.” She has been part of the Days of Our Lives family since her debut as Lani Price in 2015. Over the years, she has maintained a presence on the show, even if not in a full-time capacity. As her character returns to Salem, viewers can expect fresh storylines and engaging interactions with other cast members.
As the soap opera continues to evolve, the return of Eli and Lani promises to shake things up in Salem. Fans are eager for the twists and turns that lie ahead as the couple steps back into the spotlight, bringing with them new opportunities for drama and character development.
