William Joseph Keith, a cherished family member and avid bowler, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, at the age of 88. His death was attributed to complications from congestive heart failure and pneumonia. Keith’s life was marked by dedication to his family, a love for sports, and a commitment to his community.

Born on January 24, 1937, in McAlester, Oklahoma, Keith moved to California with his family at the age of 12. Settling in the Maywood area, he would later serve in the Army for two years, an experience that instilled in him a sense of discipline and commitment.

On July 27, 1963, Keith married Mary Ann Wallace, and the couple enjoyed a long partnership that lasted 46 years until her passing in 2009. Together, they raised two children: Kirk, born in 1965, and Krista, born in 1971. Keith took great pride in his family, and his legacy continues through his children, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Keith had a long and successful career, working for more than 30 years at G&G Amusement and CA Robinson, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. After retiring, he spent a decade working at Angel Stadium, a role that allowed him to remain active in his community and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow sports enthusiasts.

An avid bowler, Keith’s passion for the sport remained strong throughout his life. Even at 88, he continued to bowl three times a week, earning the affection of fellow bowlers and friends who admired his dedication and spirit. His zest for life and commitment to bowling reflected his positive outlook and love for competition.

Keith’s passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him. His family and friends remember him as a loving father, a supportive husband, and a dedicated friend. The memories of his laughter and his love for the game will resonate with all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
