Thrilling Trunk or Treat Event Draws Crowds at Flagship Cinemas
Flagship Premium Cinemas hosted its annual Trunk or Treat at the Movies event on October 18 in Churchville, attracting hundreds of families eager to celebrate Halloween in a fun and safe environment. Attendees arrived in a variety of costumes, engaging in festive activities that included trick-or-treating from creatively decorated car trunks.
The event featured children dressed as beloved characters, with highlights including Brooks Bradley, a nine-year-old from Bel Air, posing with Viane Vargas, who portrayed Art the Clown from the film series *Terrifier*. This interactive experience allowed participants not only to collect candy but also to immerse themselves in the Halloween spirit.
Many families participated in the festivities by dressing in themed costumes. Cole Waggoner, another nine-year-old from Aberdeen, showcased his spooky bunny outfit while distributing treats. Paul Applegate and his daughter Aubrey, aged seven, donned outfits inspired by the film *A League of Their Own*, adding to the diverse array of costumes present at the event.
Local residents also joined in the fun, such as Canon Holmes and Stella Rineer, who dressed in Willy Wonka-themed attire while handing out candy. The event created a vibrant atmosphere, with children excitedly moving from trunk to trunk, collecting sweets and enjoying the festive decorations.
In addition to the trunk displays, the event featured activities designed to entertain younger visitors. Madeline Price, salon leader for Hair Cuttery’s Rock Spring location, brought a touch of glamour by adding glitter spray to the hair of four-year-old Tova Mills from Bel Air. This blending of Halloween fun with beauty services provided an engaging experience for children and parents alike.
As families entered the venue, they were greeted by an inflatable castle, setting the tone for a playful afternoon. The event’s layout allowed for smooth flow as hundreds of visitors navigated through the parking lot, exploring the various trunk displays and interacting with characters.
Flagship Premium Cinemas’ Trunk or Treat event not only celebrated Halloween but also fostered community spirit, bringing together families for an afternoon of laughter and joy. With its focus on safety and fun, the event has become a cherished tradition for many in the Churchville area.
