Great Bend Chamber Opens Nominations for 2026 Annual Awards
Nominations are now open for the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce 2026 Annual Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions in the community. These awards highlight the achievements of local businesses and individuals who have made significant impacts through leadership, innovation, and service.
The awards include several categories. The Business of the Year Award honors Chamber members that excel in customer service, growth, innovation, community involvement, and resilience. This award aims to showcase businesses that demonstrate excellence and commitment to their customers and the community at large.
Another key category is the Citizen of the Year Award. This award celebrates individuals who exhibit exceptional leadership and dedication, making a lasting difference in the Great Bend community. This recognition emphasizes the importance of community engagement and personal contribution to local development.
Additionally, the NextGen Leader of the Year Award, presented by FUEL Barton County, acknowledges emerging leaders who are shaping the future of Great Bend with vision and dedication. This category aims to spotlight young professionals who are already making their mark within the community.
Nominations can be submitted through the Chamber’s official website at greatbend.org/awardprograms until December 12, 2025. The winners will be announced during the Annual Awards Ceremony scheduled for February 28, 2026.
