Celebrate National Cookie Day with Free Treats at Harry Potter Shop
The Harry Potter Shop in Chicago is celebrating the holiday season with a festive transformation and a special treat for visitors. On December 4, 2023, the first 100 customers will receive a complimentary Harry & Ron Sweater Cookie in honor of National Cookie Day. This promotion offers one cookie per customer, making it a sweet incentive to visit the shop.
The enchanting store has embraced the holiday spirit, creating a snow globe-like atmosphere filled with seasonal decorations. While the free cookies are a highlight, all visitors can enjoy a range of festive offerings. Alongside the sweater cookies, the shop features popular items such as Hot Butterbeer, traditional English mince pies, pumpkin tarts, and macarons.
For those who want to immerse themselves in the magical world of Harry Potter, the store provides several engaging activities. Visitors can take pictures in a life-sized snow globe or pose with a broomstick, capturing the spirit of a snow-covered Hogwarts. An adventurous Tree Trail scavenger hunt invites guests to explore the store for hidden treasures, with those who complete it receiving a limited-edition “Holidays at Hogwarts” pin. Additionally, free guided tours lasting 20 minutes run until December 24, showcasing movie props, decorations, and Easter eggs for fans.
In a spirit of giving, the Harry Potter Shop is also partnering with local charities to support those in need. Customers can contribute to a holiday sock drive by donating new socks to help Dobby the House-Elf spread seasonal magic. Socks can be dropped off at any register, with donations going to organizations like Cradles to Crayons in Chicago and Knock Knock Give a Sock in New York.
Whether you are a devoted Harry Potter fan or simply someone looking to enjoy the holiday season with a delightful treat, the Harry Potter Shop Chicago promises a memorable experience filled with charm and festive cheer. This event represents an excellent opportunity to indulge in seasonal delights while contributing to a worthy cause.
