Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, the reality television star known for her role on “Jersey Shore,” has disclosed her diagnosis of Stage 1 cervical cancer. Announcing the news on social media, Polizzi shared details of her recent cone biopsy, which confirmed the presence of cancerous cells, and emphasized the critical need for women to undergo regular health checkups.

During a candid video, Polizzi, 38, documented her visit to the doctor where the biopsy results were shared. “Obviously not the news that I was hoping for, but also not the worst news just because they caught it so early,” she stated, highlighting the importance of early detection in combating the disease.

Polizzi has experienced abnormal Pap smears for several years prior to her diagnosis, which prompted her to pursue further medical evaluation. She is scheduled for a PET scan to determine whether the cancer has spread and is likely to undergo a hysterectomy to remove her uterus and cervix. “Instead of just putting it off because I didn’t want to go and it hurt and I was scared, no, I just went and did it,” she expressed, stressing that the cancer is treatable at this stage.

The reality star’s announcement comes as a reminder of the importance of regular screenings. “Get your appointments done, b******! I’m telling you,” Polizzi urged her followers, encouraging women to prioritize their health and seek medical advice without delay.

Reflecting on her diagnosis, Polizzi mentioned the impact it has on her family life, stating, “2026 is not panning out how I wanted it to, but also, could be worse.” She shares three children with her husband, Jionni LaValle, further emphasizing her motivation to stay healthy for her family.

Polizzi’s transparency about her health journey has resonated with many, as she invites women to share their experiences and support each other in dealing with similar health issues. “Let’s comment below on all of us going through this … a lot of women go through it silently, without anyone to talk to,” she noted.

As Polizzi navigates her treatment process, her story serves as a powerful reminder of the vital role early detection plays in the fight against cervical cancer. By sharing her experience, she aims to inspire others to take proactive steps in managing their health.
