Remembering Timothy J. Nagle: A Life Filled with Passion
Timothy J. Nagle, a cherished figure in the Allentown community, passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2025, at the age of 54. His death followed a prolonged struggle with various health issues. Born on April 3, 1971, to Regina (Gallagher) and Morris Nagle, Tim’s early years were spent on the East Side of Allentown, where he developed a strong sense of community and a love for life.
Tim graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1989 and later married his beloved wife, Lisa Ebert, in June 1997. The couple welcomed two sons, Evan and Jack, with Tim fully embracing the role of a dedicated father. His contributions to family life were marked by his enthusiasm, which extended beyond parenting to his many passions, particularly golf.
As a lifelong resident of Allentown, Tim made a significant impact on the local golf scene. Renowned for his skill, he was often described as a “scratch golfer.” His love for the game led him to establish the Blue Shamrock Golf Club in Palmerton in 2014. Under his leadership, the club flourished, becoming a highly rated destination for golf enthusiasts in the Lehigh Valley.
Tim’s career included positions at Pipeline Petroleum in Macungie and Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Palmerton. His affinity for skiing was evident as he often spent winter weekends with his family at Blue Mountain and ski resorts across the United States, including notable locations in Vermont and the West.
Travel was another passion for Tim, who enjoyed adventures across the globe. His journeys took him to destinations such as Bermuda, Florida, Ireland, Italy, Austria, and New Zealand, enriching his life and those of his family. Fishing also held a special place in his heart, with Tim finding joy in the tranquility of lakes and rivers, often pursuing fish in both local waters and during his travels.
Beyond his numerous hobbies, friends and family will remember Tim for his vivacious spirit. He was often the life of the party, bringing laughter and joy to gatherings through his storytelling and culinary skills. His generosity shone through in his willingness to assist others, whether through small acts of kindness or larger gestures.
Tim is survived by his wife, Lisa; his sons, Evan and Jack; his father-in-law, Bruce Ebert; his sister-in-law, Tari Ebert; his sister, Jane Nagle (married to Richard McDermott) of Chicago; and brothers Michael Nagle (married to Megan O’Donnell) of Allen Township and Matthew Nagle of Allentown. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends.
Private services have been conducted, with arrangements entrusted to the O’Donnell Funeral Home in Allentown. In memory of Tim, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, Kate’s House of Paws, or The Sanctuary at Haafsville. For online condolences, visit www.odonnellfuneralhomes.com.
Timothy J. Nagle will be remembered not just for his passion for golf and family, but for the joy and warmth he brought to everyone he encountered. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
