Denver7 | Your Voice to Spotlight Edgewater Community Stories
On February 13, 2024, Denver7 | Your Voice will visit the Edgewater Public Market to highlight the stories of local residents. This initiative aims to capture a range of narratives, from positive experiences to the challenges faced by the community. Denver7 has been actively engaging with different neighborhoods across Colorado, addressing issues that matter most to residents.
The special broadcast will feature live coverage from Edgewater, with anchors Micah Smith and Ryan Fish leading the reports. Viewers can expect to hear firsthand accounts from community members, shedding light on their lives and concerns. Denver7 encourages residents to participate by sharing their stories, questions, or issues that need addressing.
As part of this initiative, interested individuals are invited to fill out a contact form to communicate directly with the Denver7 | Your Voice team. This input will be presented to local leaders, further enriching the dialogue within the community.
The Edgewater visit follows a successful event in May 2023, when Denver7 reported from the Five Points neighborhood. That broadcast focused on the challenges and vibrant culture within the area, often described as “the epicenter of Black consciousness.” Viewers can find a recap of that coverage available on Denver7’s platform.
Denver7’s commitment to community engagement reflects its dedication to journalism that prioritizes local voices. The network seeks to amplify these stories, addressing both the triumphs and trials of the communities it serves. As the date approaches, more information will be shared on how residents can join the live event at Edgewater Public Market.
This initiative not only aims to inform but also to foster a sense of unity and understanding among Edgewater residents. By sharing these diverse narratives, Denver7 hopes to create a richer, more inclusive dialogue about the community’s future.
