The historic Bonnie Kate Theater has revealed its winter movie schedule, offering a selection of films to entertain audiences from January through March 2024. The lineup aims to embrace the cold weather while evoking a sense of nostalgia among attendees.

Kent Edens, president of the Friends of the Bonnie Kate, expressed his excitement about the upcoming films. He emphasized his desire to bring back fond memories associated with the theater. “I want people to revisit their memories of the Bonnie Kate and make everyone aware that the Bonnie Kate is back,” Edens stated. He added that he hopes families can enjoy classic films together, bridging generations of movie lovers.

The winter film schedule includes a diverse range of popular titles:
– January 10 – Frozen
– January 17 – Clue
– January 24 – Titanic
– January 31 – Groundhog Day
– February 12 – The Shining
– February 13 – The Princess Bride
– February 14 – The Princess and the Frog
– February 21 – Raiders of the Lost Ark
– February 27 – North by Northwest
– February 28 – Rear Window
– March 27 – Steel Magnolias
– March 28 – Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Tickets for the screenings are priced at $8 and can be purchased either online at bonniekatetheater.org or at the theater’s entrance. Edens revealed that plans are already underway to continue showcasing nostalgic films throughout the year, with screenings expected to occur regularly.

“We’re back in business, movies will be played here practically every week for 2026,” Edens confirmed.

In addition to the movie schedule, the Bonnie Kate Theater is set to receive a new marquee by the middle of summer, further enhancing the venue’s appeal. As the theater prepares for this exciting winter season, it looks to welcome both longtime patrons and new visitors to enjoy films that have captured hearts across generations.
