Washington Commanders Face Kansas City Chiefs in Monday Showdown
The Washington Commanders will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in their Monday Night Football matchup, but the home team will be missing their starting quarterback. Jayden Daniels will sit out due to a hamstring injury, marking his third game missed this season. Marcus Mariota is expected to start in his place, aiming to improve on his 1-1 record with a completion percentage of 60.3%, having thrown for 426 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions in his previous outings.
Despite the absence of their starter, the Commanders will welcome back key players, including wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel, who have recovered from injuries. This reinvigorated offensive lineup will be challenged by a Chiefs team that has gained momentum after a rocky start to the season. Kansas City began their campaign with a 0-2 record but has rebounded to win three of their last four games, including a dominant 31-0 victory against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7.
