UPDATE: Towns across the Fox Valley have just confirmed official trick-or-treat hours for Halloween, scheduled for Friday, October 31. Families are urged to mark their calendars, as this is a prime opportunity for kids to enjoy a festive night filled with treats!

Aurora has announced its trick-or-treat hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday. Additionally, an exciting annual event will take place at Wilder Park, located at 350 N. River St., featuring fun activities from 2 to 4 p.m. Kids are encouraged to don their favorite costumes, as they will receive free candy from over 20 city departments, giveaways, and enjoy a DJ playing festive music.

In Geneva, trick-or-treating will commence from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, with a special downtown event on Thursday, October 30, from 2 to 5 p.m. Children can stroll through downtown, where shops and restaurants displaying participation signs will hand out treats, ensuring a delightful experience for all.

Other towns in the Fox Valley are also getting in on the Halloween spirit. Here are the confirmed trick-or-treat hours for various locations:

Batavia: 3 to 7 p.m.
St. Charles: 3 to 7 p.m.
North Aurora: 4 to 8 p.m.
Montgomery: 4 to 7:30 p.m.
Sugar Grove: 4 to 7 p.m.
Oswego: 3:30 to 8 p.m.
Plano: 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Elburn: 4 to 8 p.m.
Yorkville: 4 to 8 p.m.
