Renée Rapp Postpones Final Tour Date Amid Health Concerns
Renée Rapp has postponed her final North American tour date due to ongoing health issues affecting her voice. The pop singer and actress, known for her role in *Sex Lives of College Girls*, announced the cancellation of her homecoming concert originally scheduled for October 29, 2023, at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The decision follows previous delays for shows in Atlanta and Tampa, which were set for October 26 and October 27, respectively. Rapp shared her struggles on social media, stating, “As of right now, I still don’t have a voice. I’m recovering slowly, but still not in a place where I am able to perform safely.” She expressed deep regret over the situation, saying, “I am so sorry and heartbroken that I have to postpone.”
Rescheduled Dates Provide Relief for Fans
The Charlotte performance has been rescheduled for November 7, 2023, with all original tickets remaining valid for the new date. Meanwhile, the Tampa concert is now set for November 4, and the Atlanta show has been pushed to November 5. Rapp emphasized her commitment to her fans, stating, “I want to stress that I know the time and effort and preparation attending a show takes. I promise you it doesn’t go unnoticed or unseen.”
This marks a notable moment for the singer, who revealed that she has never had to reschedule a concert before. “I’ve been pushing through an illness but my body has finally given out,” she explained. Her medical team has advised against performing, citing the need for vocal rest and physical recovery.
Rapp’s *Bite Me Tour* has been a significant part of her career, showcasing her debut album, which reached No. 1 on the charts in August. Following her North American tour, she is set to embark on a European tour starting on March 11, 2026, in Antwerp, Belgium, with additional performances planned in the Netherlands, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.
Fans are hopeful for her swift recovery, as many eagerly anticipate the rescheduled shows. Rapp remains dedicated to delivering her best performance, assuring her audience that she will return stronger and ready to share the music they love.
