Netflix’s The Hunting Wives Season 2 Set to Deliver More Twists

Netflix has confirmed that the popular thriller series, The Hunting Wives, will return for a highly anticipated Season 2. Actress Brittany Snow announced that production is set to begin in early November 2023, sparking excitement among fans eager for more drama and intrigue.
In a conversation with ScreenRant, Snow hinted at the upcoming season’s potential, stating, “We start in a couple weeks, in the beginning of November, so it’s definitely happening.” While specific plot details remain under wraps, she indicated that the new season will take the narrative to “crazier” heights than its predecessor.
The first season of The Hunting Wives premiered on July 21, 2023, quickly ascending to the top of Netflix’s charts. Following a shocking finale that unveiled a deadly secret involving Margo, viewers are eager to see how the complex relationship between Sophie and Margo evolves. Their bond, originally characterized by desire and power, is set to confront new threats, betrayals, and the pressing question of who is truly in control.
What to Expect in Season 2
Showrunner Rebecca Perry Cutter has teased that the upcoming season will guide audiences on “another sexy, twisted, batshit crazy ride through Maple Brook.” Instead of directly adapting May Cobb’s novel, the new season will feature an original script, offering fresh twists and turns for viewers. Cutter also revealed that Sophie and Margo will begin the season “on the outs,” but the emergence of “old secrets and new foes” will compel them back together, blurring the lines between hunter and hunted.
The original cast is largely returning, including Malin Akerman, Dermot Mulroney, Katie Lowes, Chrissy Metz, and Jaime Ray Newman, along with Evan Jonigkeit and George Ferrier. With filming commencing in November 2023, it’s likely that the wait for the next season will be shorter than anticipated.
As anticipation builds for The Hunting Wives Season 2, fans can expect a continuation of the intense storytelling that captivated audiences in the first season. With production soon underway, Netflix is poised to deliver yet another thrilling chapter in this gripping saga.
