Mapa Broker Unveils Innovative App at Harvard’s World Leaders Congress

Mapa Broker participated in the prestigious World Leaders Congress at Harvard University on October 9-10, 2025. Co-founder Erika Rodríguez delivered an impactful presentation titled “The Business of Second Chances: Car Auctions,” which drew parallels between the automotive industry and the concept of reinventing oneself. Her insights emphasized how Mapa Broker has empowered thousands of Latinos in the United States to engage with and thrive in the car auction market.
In her talk, Rodríguez highlighted the transformative nature of car auctions, comparing the vehicles that find new owners to individuals seeking fresh starts. “Just as cars have a second chance at auctions, people also have the power and the right to reinvent ourselves,” she stated, addressing an audience of global business leaders and entrepreneurs. This message resonated deeply, reflecting Mapa Broker’s commitment to fostering opportunities within the Latino community.
Partnership with Copart and the Launch of Mapa App
One of the event’s pivotal moments was the announcement that Mapa Broker is now the first Latin partner of Copart, the largest car auction company in the United States. This collaboration aims to develop the Mapa App, which is set to revolutionize how the Hispanic community accesses car auctions.
Rodríguez and her team unveiled a visual prototype of the app during the congress. It features an interactive landing page that allows users to explore its functionalities and design. The initial version of the app, scheduled for release in December 2025, will integrate artificial intelligence developed by Mapa to provide real-time, Spanish-language information about vehicles listed on Copart. Furthermore, the app will offer personalized assistance from Mapa representatives, enabling anyone—regardless of dealer licenses—to participate and purchase directly in auctions.
The second version of the app, expected to launch in May 2026, will enhance user experience with advanced tools such as a cost calculator, a digital wallet, and the ability to place bids directly from the app. This comprehensive approach aims to deliver a transparent and accessible auction experience for all users.
Commitment to Community and Innovation
Mapa Broker’s presence at Harvard signifies a significant milestone in its mission to democratize the car auction industry. Rodríguez expressed pride in reaching such a prestigious platform, stating, “Reaching the prestigious Harvard University with a project that was built from scratch—with dedication, purpose, and community—is living proof that dreams can’t be bought: they are built with effort, consistency, and faith.”
This initiative underscores Mapa Broker’s ongoing commitment to innovation, education, and digital inclusion within the automotive sector. By partnering with Copart, Mapa Broker is poised to enhance opportunities for the Latino community in the United States, paving the way for greater engagement in the car auction market.
