Restaurants Nationwide Serve Free Meals to Veterans on Nov. 11
UPDATE: On November 11, restaurants across the country are stepping up to honor active-duty service members and veterans with an array of free meals and discounts. These offers are designed to show gratitude for their service, making this Veterans Day a memorable one.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., veterans can enjoy a free all-American burger at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar in Colorado, while Applebee’s is offering a choice of seven full-sized entrees including the classic bacon cheeseburger and chicken tenders platter. In addition, Applebee’s will provide a $5 bounce back card for future dining.
Veterans and active-duty military members can also indulge in free meals at numerous other establishments. At BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, guests can receive a free chocolate chunk Pizookie with a valid military ID, while Blaze Pizza is giving away a free one-topping pizza and donating $1 from every pizza sold to Folds of Honor, an organization supporting military families.
Many chains are participating in this nationwide initiative, including:
– **Chili’s:** Free entrees like chicken bacon ranch quesadillas.
– **Cody’s Original Roadhouse:** Free entrees such as a half rack of ribs or grilled barbecue chicken breast.
– **Cracker Barrel:** Free Sunrise Pancake Breakfast featuring buttermilk pancakes and eggs.
The offerings extend beyond casual dining. Fine dining chains like Eddie Merlot’s will serve veterans a complimentary Eddie’s Prime Cheeseburger, while Perry’s Steakhouse is providing a free dinner-cut pork chop for those dining with a guest.
Veterans and active military can also enjoy discounts and free meals at various locations including:
– **Fazoli’s:** Free spaghetti with marinara or meat sauce.
– **Golden Corral:** Free buffet meal from 4 p.m. to close.
– **Texas Roadhouse:** Meal vouchers available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m..
This Veterans Day, many chains are open to extend their gratitude. For instance, Hard Rock Cafe is giving away free classic smash burgers, while the Green Turtle sports bar allows veterans to enjoy meals up to $15 at no charge.
