Prolific Prep Tops SC Next Top 25 High School Basketball Rankings
UPDATE: Prolific Prep has surged to the top of the SC Next Top 25 boys’ basketball rankings for the 2025-26 season, officially announced today. This powerhouse team is set to dominate with a stellar roster, featuring four ranked prospects, including Caleb Holt, a five-star player ranked No. 6 for the class of 2026, and Bruce Branch III, a five-star talent ranked No. 2 for 2027.
The Florida-based team is coming off an impressive season, finishing with 35 wins and ranking fourth nationally last year. As they prepare to kick off this season, all eyes are on Prolific Prep to see if they can maintain their winning momentum.
In a close second, Link Academy from Missouri boasts a formidable lineup featuring eight ranked prospects. Meanwhile, Southeastern Prep from Florida is making its SC Next Top 25 debut at No. 3, led by the highly touted Jaxon Richardson, a five-star player ranked No. 11 who recently transferred from Columbus.
The rankings also highlight other elite programs poised for a strong season. IMG Academy from Florida is ranked No. 4, while SPIRE Academy in Ohio, under the guidance of Coach Kevin Boyle, holds the No. 7 spot. Archbishop Stepinac from New York rounds out the top 10 at No. 9.
