Golden Link Chapter No. 204 Honors Kijahfha Mahoney with Service Award
BREAKING: Golden Link Chapter No. 204 has just honored member Kijahfha Mahoney with the 2024 Charity, Truth and Kindness Award in recognition of her exceptional community service. This prestigious award acknowledges her three years of dedicated volunteer work that has significantly impacted the Covington community.
Mahoney’s contributions include organizing scholarship fundraisers, donating to food drives, and participating in youth outreach initiatives, all aimed at uplifting families and young people in need. Her relentless efforts demonstrate a deep commitment to community service that resonates throughout the region.
The Charity, Truth and Kindness Award is presented annually by the Georgia Prince Hall Grand Chapter, Inc. of the Order of the Eastern Star, Jurisdiction of Georgia, Inc., recognizing members who embody compassion, integrity, and selfless service. Mahoney is a shining example of these values, showcasing her dedication both as a volunteer and a leader.
Currently serving as a District Queen for the 2025–26 term, Mahoney is spearheading initiatives to raise funds for scholarships that support students pursuing higher education. Her leadership in this role further highlights her commitment to empowering youth and ensuring educational opportunities are accessible to all.
In her own words, Mahoney expressed,
“Serving the community has truly been a blessing. I am grateful to Golden Link Chapter No. 204 for the opportunity to give back, and I am honored to have received the Charity, Truth, and Kindness Award in 2024 while continuing my service as District Queen.”
