David St. Pierre Nominated as Maine’s Next U.S. Marshal

UPDATE: Former Lewiston Police Chief David St. Pierre is set to be named Maine’s next U.S. Marshal, according to a press release from U.S. Sen. Susan Collins. If confirmed by the Senate, St. Pierre will succeed Kevin Neal, who held the U.S. Marshal position since 2022 before relocating to a similar role in Massachusetts. St. Pierre began his career with the Lewiston Police Department in the summer of 1992, rising through the ranks to become chief in 2021.
