Dallas Wellness Leader Emily Dewberry Transforms Breathwork
Emily Dewberry, a wellness leader from Dallas, is reshaping how individuals manage stress through her platform, The Embody Edit. By combining breathwork, movement, and mindfulness, she offers practical tools designed to help people regulate their emotions and enhance their overall well-being. As a certified instructor of the Wim Hof Method—one of only six in Texas—Dewberry blends scientific principles with intuitive practices to foster emotional resilience.
Dewberry founded The Embody Edit in 2021 following a year marked by significant personal and professional challenges, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. After losing her corporate job, she returned to Dallas and turned to breathwork and meditation as a means of recovering from burnout. What began as a personal journey quickly evolved into a mission to help others navigate their own stressors.
“My goal is to make nervous system regulation simple, science-based, and accessible,” Dewberry explains. “The Embody Edit bridges ancient wisdom with modern science to bring real calm into real life.” Through her virtual studio and dedicated app, users can access guided breathwork sessions, meditations, and short movement practices tailored for busy lifestyles.
Corporate Wellness and Community Engagement
Dewberry’s impact extends beyond individual sessions; she also leads corporate wellness programs for various organizations. These workshops focus on addressing employee burnout while enhancing focus and productivity. Companies benefit from her expertise as she designs tailored breathwork and mindfulness sessions aimed at fostering healthier work environments.
In addition to corporate engagements, Dewberry hosts pop-up wellness events across Dallas and has expanded her reach to Houston and Los Angeles. Collaborating with notable brands such as Alo Yoga, Neiman Marcus, and The Quell Foundation, she brings her unique approach to a wider audience.
Her sessions distinguish themselves from more traditional wellness offerings. Rather than promoting an escape from stress, Dewberry encourages participants to confront it actively. She views the nervous system as a teacher, guiding clients to understand how their breath, posture, and focus can influence their emotional state.
Dewberry also hosts a podcast titled The Breath Sessions, where she invites diverse guests to discuss mindfulness and emotional resilience. The podcast reinforces her belief that breathwork is a valuable toolkit for navigating the complexities of modern life.
A Commitment to Accessibility
Dewberry’s approach is grounded in the belief that everyone can feel grounded and connected. “This work helps people remember how to do that in their own way,” she asserts. Her aim is to make wellness practices accessible to all, regardless of their background or circumstances.
To stay updated with her offerings, you can follow The Embody Edit on Instagram or reach out to Dewberry directly at [email protected]. With her innovative approach, Emily Dewberry is creating a lasting impact on the wellness landscape, helping individuals breathe easier and live better.
