The incident occurred just before 22:00 local time, prompting a swift response from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office after a 911 call reported a “home invasion robbery/burglary in progress.”

Upon arrival, officers spoke with several individuals who stated that four armed men, wearing masks, entered the residence brandishing handguns. At the time of the break-in, 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was not at home. He was engaged in a livestream with YouTuber Jack Doherty, which may have provided the robbers with a window of opportunity.

In his video, he remarked, “I guess people saw that I was on a livestream with Jack Doherty. They took that opportunity to do some cowardly act. It’s me, I get it. The rules are different for me.” He emphasized that such actions would not earn respect, no matter who the victim might be.
