Prince Harry Encourages Sisters to Move to the US for Family Unity
Prince Harry is reportedly urging his sisters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, to relocate to the United States. This move follows the recent stripping of titles from their father, Prince Andrew, and reflects Harry’s desire for familial closeness. After stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, settled in Montecito, California, where they are now encouraging Eugenie and Beatrice to join them.
According to sources, the Duke of Sussex understands the emotional toll that recent events have taken on his sisters. With their father facing significant public scrutiny, both Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are navigating a challenging period. Reports suggest that Harry has expressed his longing for family connections, believing that having his sisters nearby would provide much-needed support.
The situation has prompted Prince Harry to advocate for Eugenie’s move to the US. A source indicated that the Sussexes have been “insisting” that Eugenie “needs room to breathe,” suggesting that America offers her the chance to find a sense of security away from the pressures of royal life in London. The source added that Eugenie currently feels “exposed and vulnerable” as her parents are “suddenly cast adrift.”
While the princess remains committed to her royal obligations, she is also exploring alternatives. At 35 years old, Eugenie has begun considering a relocation with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and their children, August and Ernest. The prospect of moving across the Atlantic is feasible, especially since Jack is already employed by a US property firm.
Prince Harry’s desire for family unity is evident in the way he has reached out to Eugenie. The source mentioned that he has expressed how much he misses both princesses and that having them close would feel like reclaiming a part of the family he has been distanced from. In addition, the Sussexes have reassured Eugenie that there is potential for collaboration within Harry’s work with the Invictus Games or Meghan’s various ventures.
While the move is still under consideration, the situation underscores the ongoing adjustments within the royal family as they navigate their new realities. Prince Harry’s initiative reflects a broader desire for connection and support amid challenging circumstances, aiming to foster a sense of community as they all adapt to their changing roles.
