Jesse Eisenberg Jokes About Woody Harrelson’s Heist Knowledge
Jesse Eisenberg recently brought laughter to audiences during his appearance on **The Tonight Show**, where he promoted his new film, **Now You See Me, Now You Don’t**. This latest installment of the magician-heist series has sparked conversation not just about its plot but also about a real-life incident involving the **Louvre Museum**. Eisenberg humorously speculated whether his co-star **Woody Harrelson** might have had a hand in a recent diamond heist at the iconic Parisian landmark.
While discussing the film’s release, Eisenberg pointed out the curious timing between the movie and the Louvre heist that has captured public attention. He quipped that the heist could be part of a promotional stunt for the film, saying, “It was,” much to the amusement of the audience. Eisenberg recounted an amusing incident during a press junket where Harrelson elaborated on the specific tools he would use in a heist, leaving Eisenberg and the cast puzzled.
“We were all sitting there like, ‘What’s an acute grating saw? What are you even talking about? How do you know this stuff?’” Eisenberg recalled. When asked if Harrelson learned about heists from the **Now You See Me** films, Eisenberg playfully suggested, “No, he knows it from maybe doing that.”
The actor expressed his excitement about returning to the role after several years, noting that while he often portrays “miserable people,” the **Now You See Me** films are a delightful exception. “These movies are the only fun thing in my life,” he remarked. Eisenberg described his character as the “most confident magician on the planet,” which allows him to embrace a more spirited persona.
During the show, Eisenberg also showcased a quick card trick, humorously referring to it as “bad magic.” He attempted the same trick earlier with a child at his son’s school, demonstrating his playful side. “I’m maybe the world’s worst magician, but I can act like I’m a good magician,” he joked, to the delight of the audience.
As the buzz around **Now You See Me, Now You Don’t** continues to grow, Eisenberg’s lighthearted comments about Harrelson’s heist expertise add a layer of intrigue and entertainment to the film’s promotion. With the movie set to hit theaters in March 2024, fans are eagerly anticipating its release and the antics of its charismatic cast.
