Schneider Electric Launches AI-Powered EcoStruxure Foresight Operation
Schneider Electric has introduced its latest innovation, the EcoStruxure Foresight Operation, a groundbreaking platform designed to unify energy, power, and building systems into a single, AI-driven solution. Announced on November 18, 2025, during the company’s Innovation Summit in Las Vegas, this platform aims to enhance operational efficiency and reliability across various industries.
The EcoStruxure Foresight Operation represents a significant advancement for the built environment, providing businesses with advanced tools for control, visibility, and predictive insights. This innovative platform addresses the challenges of fragmented systems that have long plagued facility management, enabling a cohesive approach to energy and resource management.
Revolutionizing Operational Efficiency
According to Manish Kumar, Executive Vice President of Digital Energy at Schneider Electric, the new platform functions like an “intelligent operational assistant,” allowing teams to improve their speed and decision-making capabilities. The EcoStruxure Foresight Operation not only integrates various systems but also streamlines engineering workflows, potentially reducing project timelines by up to 40% and increasing operational efficiency by as much as 50%.
The platform’s AI capabilities provide continuous learning and adaptability, helping organizations anticipate and mitigate issues before they escalate. This proactive approach enables facilities to resolve interrelated electrical and mechanical problems up to 90% faster, maximizing uptime and resilience across operations.
Addressing Industry Challenges
Facility managers often face mounting pressures from tight project deadlines, resource shortages, and complex regulatory environments. Many still rely on isolated systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, and power distribution, which can lead to inefficiencies. For instance, unnoticed voltage imbalances can damage equipment, and uncoordinated energy usage can elevate operational costs significantly.
The EcoStruxure Foresight Operation is crafted to tackle these inefficiencies head-on, particularly in mission-critical environments such as data centers and hospitals, where each second of downtime can lead to substantial consequences. Given that buildings waste up to 40% of the energy they consume, the need for a unified control system has never been more pressing.
Kumar emphasized that the platform transforms complexity into simplicity, allowing systems to communicate effectively. The EcoStruxure Foresight Operation is designed to meet both current and future demands, reflecting insights gathered from customers across various industries.
Looking ahead, Schneider Electric plans to make EcoStruxure Foresight Operation available to early adopters in Q3 2026. Customers interested in participating in beta testing can engage in the upcoming months, providing feedback that will shape the platform’s development.
With over 160,000 employees and a presence in more than 100 countries, Schneider Electric continues to position itself as a leader in energy technology. Its commitment to electrifying, automating, and digitalizing industries reflects its aim to create interconnected ecosystems that enhance performance and sustainability.
