BLUETTI Celebrates TIME Best Inventions Awards with Innovative Launch

BLUETTI, a leading name in clean energy solutions, has achieved a significant milestone by receiving two TIME Best Inventions of 2025 Awards. This recognition aligns with the launch of the innovative Pioneer Na, which utilizes world-first sodium-ion battery technology. The Pioneer Na received a Special Mention in the “Outdoors” category for its exceptional safety features in extreme cold conditions, while the Apex 300 was honored in the “Green Energy” category for its versatile application in various settings.
Pioneer Na: A Breakthrough in Battery Technology
The Pioneer Na Portable Power Station, now available, signifies a major advancement in alternative battery chemistries. Its sodium-ion cells can charge at temperatures as low as -15°C (5°F) and discharge down to -25°C (-13°F). This capability addresses a significant limitation of many lithium-ion batteries, making it a reliable power source for winter storm preparedness and cold-weather activities. With a capacity of 900Wh and an output of 1,500W (with a peak of 2,250W), the Pioneer Na is equipped to power various devices, from smartphones to electric kettles.
The sodium-ion technology also enhances safety by offering superior thermal stability, significantly reducing fire risks during everyday use. The device boasts a lifespan of up to 10 years with minimal standby loss of just 1.5 W, making it a sustainable option compared to traditional lithium-ion solutions. Additionally, it supports rapid charging, achieving 0-80% in merely 35 minutes. To validate its durability, BLUETTI plans to test the Pioneer Na during an upcoming Antarctic expedition.
Apex 300: Versatility and Efficiency
BLUETTI’s Apex 300 also garnered recognition from TIME, celebrated for its modular design and smart scalability. It features a remarkably low 20 W AC idle draw and incorporates a long-lasting LiFePO 4 battery, which can last up to 17 years. The device includes an intuitive one-touch toggle for both 120V and 240V outputs, making it adaptable for various applications, such as emergency home battery backup, RV living, and fully automated energy systems.
Following a successful fundraising campaign that raised $5.4 million on Indiegogo, the Apex 300 is now available globally. Homeowners in the United States can also benefit from the 30% Residential Clean Energy Credit when purchasing this product, though this incentive is set to expire on December 31, 2025.
BLUETTI, established in 2009, continues to push the boundaries of clean energy technology. With a commitment to innovative portable power solutions and home battery systems, the company has empowered over 3.5 million users across more than 110 countries. The recent accolades and product launches further solidify BLUETTI’s position as a pioneer in the industry, emphasizing safety, sustainability, and performance.
For those interested in purchasing the Pioneer Na, it is currently offered at a special introductory price of $799, with an additional 8% discount available using the code BLUETTI8OFF.
