Corey Feldman Finalizes Divorce Settlement with Courtney Feldman

Corey Feldman and his estranged wife, Courtney Feldman, have reached a divorce settlement, effectively preventing a lengthy trial. The agreement was revealed by the presiding judge during a settlement conference on November 20, 2023. This resolution came after Courtney requested an increase in her spousal support.

Following the announcement, Corey Feldman expressed relief that “the most painful part of this is finally behind us.” He emphasized the importance of moving forward, stating, “I pray for everyone involved that we can move on with our lives and heal.” Corey also requested privacy as he prepares for upcoming projects in the new year.

Courtney previously sought an increase from the $3,500 per month in spousal support she was receiving, which was an increase from an initial payment of $2,000. She argued that the adjustment was necessary due to Corey’s income, which she claimed was significantly higher following his participation in the reality show, Dancing With the Stars. Reports indicate that contestants on the show can earn between $125,000 and $300,000 for a single season.

In her court filings, Courtney requested $7,226 per month in support, an additional $16,712 in retroactive payments, and $15,000 to cover her legal fees. She argued that since their separation, she had struggled financially, even borrowing money to pay bills. She also indicated that she was without a vehicle while Corey had access to multiple luxury cars.

Courtney’s claims included a request for $42,409, asserting it represented half of their community assets, along with $4,379 for medical expenses. Corey’s publicist, Samantha Waranch, countered these claims, stating, “Corey has continued to financially support Courtney for years. He has maintained her health insurance since the day she left.”

The couple, married in 2016, officially separated on June 22, 2023. Corey filed for legal separation in September 2023. Courtney claimed that the marriage deteriorated when she expressed a desire to stop partying, a claim Corey has publicly refuted. He described the allegations as false and sensationalized, reinforcing that their incompatibility was the primary reason for their separation.

In a statement to the media, Corey noted, “Those who truly know me understand these allegations were made to sensationalize the story and gain sympathy from the court and public.” He reiterated the complexities of their relationship, acknowledging that many marriages face challenges that can lead to separation.

With the settlement reached, both parties can now focus on their individual futures, marking the end of a chapter in their lives and the start of new opportunities.
