Toddler Dies After 20-Story Fall from Newark Apartment Tower
UPDATE: A tragic incident has unfolded in Newark, where a toddler has died after falling 20 stories from the Elizabeth Towers apartment building. Authorities received the emergency call at 7 a.m. and found the child unresponsive on the ground below.
Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II confirmed that the fall appears to be an accident. The child’s identity has not yet been released, but neighbors report the family hails from Ghana.
