Senator John Fetterman Hospitalized After Fall Near Home
Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has been hospitalized following a fall near his home in Braddock. According to his spokesman, Fetterman experienced a brief episode of light-headedness due to a flare-up of ventricular fibrillation, which led to the fall and minor injuries to his face.
During an early morning walk, Fetterman fell and subsequently received medical attention. He was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh for further evaluation. The spokesman confirmed that medical professionals determined the fall was caused by the ventricular fibrillation incident, which caused Fetterman to feel unwell.
In a lighthearted comment reflecting his resilience, Fetterman remarked, “If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now!” He is currently under routine observation as doctors work to adjust his medication. The senator expressed gratitude towards the emergency medical technicians (EMTs), doctors, and nurses involved in his care.
This incident is not Fetterman’s first health concern. He suffered a stroke during his campaign in 2022 and was hospitalized earlier in 2023 for similar symptoms of light-headedness.
The situation is developing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
