Critical Update: Pedestrian Struck in Bristol, Hospitalized
URGENT UPDATE: A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Bristol on the evening of July 19, 2023. The accident occurred around 7:17 p.m. at the intersection of Pine Street and Riverside Avenue Extension, according to the Bristol Police Department.
Officers responded swiftly to reports of the crash and found a man suffering from serious injuries. Due to the severity of his condition, Life Star was called to airlift him to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. The Bristol Police Department’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is currently conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
