UPDATE: Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry will miss his third consecutive game due to a lingering illness, just confirmed two hours before their critical matchup against the Indiana Pacers on November 5, 2023.

Curry, who initially played through the illness during a home victory over the Phoenix Suns, revealed he felt drained in the second half. Following a challenging road trip, he stayed home during the Warriors’ defeats in Sacramento and Denver.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr announced pregame that the medical staff has opted for caution, ruling Curry out for tonight’s game. Despite hopes for a quick recovery, Kerr indicated that Curry will engage in workouts on the practice court this evening and again tomorrow morning. If all goes well, there’s optimism he could return to action on November 7 against Oklahoma City, marking the start of a grueling five-city, six-game road trip.

The Warriors, who began the season strong with a 4-1 record, have now lost four of their last five games, bringing them to a 5-5 standing. The team has struggled significantly without Curry, having dropped eight straight games, including playoffs. Meanwhile, the Pacers enter this matchup fatigued, having lost to the Nuggets last night, sinking to a dismal 1-8 record.

With Curry sidelined, the Warriors face not just a critical game against a depleted Pacers roster but also a pressing need to regain momentum in their season. Fans are eager to see if Curry’s recovery allows him to return for the next game, injecting much-needed energy into the Warriors lineup.

Stay tuned for updates on Curry’s condition and the Warriors’ performance.
