Urgent: 18-Year-Old Killed in Triple Shooting in Bronzeville
BREAKING: An 18-year-old was shot dead in a violent triple shooting in Bronzeville, Chicago, on Sunday, raising alarm in the community. The incident occurred at approximately 5:05 p.m. in the 4100 block of S. Wabash Avenue, according to Chicago police.
Authorities report that three victims were inside a vehicle when they were approached by three suspects. At least one of the suspects brandished a firearm and opened fire, resulting in chaos. The young man was struck multiple times and tragically died at the scene.
In addition to the fatality, a 20-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. He was promptly transported to U of C Hospital, where he is reported to be in good condition. Another victim, a 20-year-old woman, also suffered a leg injury and was taken to the same hospital, where she is receiving treatment.
As of now, police have not made any arrests, and the search for the suspects is ongoing. Community safety remains a pressing concern in the area as officials work to apprehend those responsible for this tragic event.
