Trump Rages at ‘Creeps’ Over NY Times Report on Energy Levels
UPDATE: Former President Donald Trump unleashed a furious tirade against the New York Times early Wednesday morning, criticizing a report that suggests he is showing signs of fatigue as he approaches 80 years old. This outburst comes after the Times highlighted Trump’s apparent lack of energy during a public event on November 6, 2023.
The article described a scene where Trump appeared to doze off while executives discussed weight-loss drugs, igniting Trump’s vehement response on his social media platform, Truth Social. He labeled the Times as “Creeps” and accused them of publishing a “hit piece” on his energy levels as he prepares for the 2024 Presidential Election.
Trump declared, “I won the 2024 Presidential Election in a Landslide, winning all Seven Swing States, the Popular Vote, and the Electoral College by a lot.” He asserted that he achieved this victory by a margin of 2750 to 550, claiming a complete political “wipeout.” His statement emphasized that he has fostered economic growth, with 48 New Stock Market Highs under his leadership, and insisted that the country is “RESPECTED AGAIN all over the World.”
In a lengthy post, Trump proclaimed, “To do this requires a lot of Work and Energy, and I have never worked so hard in my life.” He dismissed the Times’ claims about his energy levels as false, stating that they are part of a broader effort by the “Radical Left Lunatics” to undermine him.
Trump continued his attack on reporter Katie Rogers, accusing her of being biased against him and labeling her a “third-rate reporter.” His comments included a personal insult regarding her appearance, which has drawn criticism and highlighted Trump’s controversial communication style.
Despite the backlash, Trump maintained, “I have my highest Poll Numbers, ever,” and expressed confidence that his support would continue to grow. He concluded by stating, “There will be a day when I run low on Energy, it happens to everyone,” but emphasized that he recently passed a “PERFECT PHYSICAL EXAM AND A COMPREHENSIVE COGNITIVE TEST,” reinforcing his assertion that he is in good health.
This latest development is significant as it underscores the ongoing tensions between Trump and mainstream media outlets, particularly as he gears up for another presidential run. The rhetoric employed in his posts not only illustrates his defensive posture but also serves to rally his base ahead of the upcoming election cycle.
As this story develops, all eyes will be on Trump’s public appearances and statements, especially regarding how he addresses concerns about his age and energy. The implications of his health and stamina on his political aspirations could be pivotal in the months leading up to the election.
